Our Story
Brooke was born in Anchorage, Alaska, which is where she lived (in a real house, not an igloo) before moving to Puerto Vallarta when her family relocated in search of sunshine and authentic tacos. Brooke had an awesome childhood in Mexico. She learned to speak fluent Spanish (Hola!) and went to the beach almost every day with her friends, not to mention developed a serious Mexican food obsession that she still has to this date. At the age of 13, Brooke moved back to the United States and hopped around between Alaska and Houston with family before finally settling down on her own in Dallas. Of course, she didn't settle down entirely on her own.. her two pups, Max and Maggie have been with her every step of the way!
Zach was born in Barrington, Illinois, a suburb outside of Chicago known for nothing else besides being a suburb outside of Chicago. "Zach was the cutest kid of all time, he was so smart and so cute - he truly was the perfect child," said Zach's mom. While that quote pretty much sums up Zach's childhood, a few other notable things are that he grew up loving / getting his heart broken by the Chicago Cubs, he would make a PowerPoint presentation any time he wanted something from his parents, and he chose to go to college at SMU in Dallas to avoid the snow and to hangout by the pool in between classes. What a guy.
One afternoon in 2017, Brooke decided to download "Bumble," a trendy new dating app that a friend recommended she join in search of Prince Charming. She was hesitant at first, but deep down she couldn't resist an opportunity to show the world more pictures of Max and Maggie. Little did Brooke know, Zach also recently downloaded Bumble in order to show off his new puppy, Tucker. After a few minutes of swiping left on a bunch of losers, Brooke began to lose interest in her new app… until… there he was… with luxurious, wavy blonde hair and captivating eyes. He was the most handsome boy she had ever seen. Of course, Brooke swiped right and followed it up with a message: "Your dog is the most handsome boy I have ever seen!" Brooke finally found her Prince Charming. His name is Tucker, and she fell in love with his dad.
Zach and Brooke have been inseparable since the day they met, and Tucker, Max, and Maggie instantly all became best friends. Two years later, Zach and Brooke got engaged. They are a match made in heaven and continue to love each other more every day.

Guests: We recommend booking flights for the morning or afternoon of November 5th
Wedding Party: We ask that you book flights for the evening of November 4th or morning of November 5th
Room Block Reservations
Resort Reservations: A room block is available for Vidanta, Nuevo Vallarta. This is the resort where the ceremony and reception will take place along with other activities. We highly recommend staying at Vidanta.
Please call +52 32 2226 4031 to reserve your room by October the 1st and reference the Volland / Blomfield wedding room block - be sure to add the (+) sign when dialing or your call will not be placed correctly
Each resort member in the reservations department will speak both Spanish and English. If you are experience a language barrier, you can request to speak to another reservation assistant.
If you have children, we recommend staying at The Grand Mayan, as this is closest proximity to the family friendly pools and activities.
For those looking to extend their stay, the reduced room rate will be available from November 3rd (check-in) to November 10th (check-out)
